OUR EXHIBITS

OUR FOUNDERS
Thomas Reinhardt
Sarah Reinhardt
David O'Brien

Meet our founders - Sarah Reinhardt, a lifelong resident, grew up listening to her grandmother's tales of the town's early days, igniting her passion for preserving these stories. Meanwhile her husband, Thomas Reinhardt, was on a quest for information regarding his great-great grandfather's years as Burdale's first Vice Mayor - that's when he discovered how fascinating Burdale's history actaully was. A 3rd grade teacher at Burdale Elementary for twenty-five years, Tom and his wife finally realized their dream of preserving Burdale's rich heritage for future generations after a chance meeting with David O'Brien, who shared their same passion for our town's great history. A multi-medium artist, David has always found inspiration in the town's architecture and culture, believing that history should be celebrated through creativity. Together, the trio's unique backgrounds and shared vision have transformed the museum into a vibrant hub of community engagement and historical exploration.

The exhibits at The Burdale Historical Association Museum are made possible by the generous contributions from The Town Of Burdale and The Never County Sheriff's Office
